Edun shared this update while briefing State House correspondents after the National Economic Council meeting, chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima. He outlined measures introduced by President Bola Tinubu’s administration to mitigate the effects of subsidy removal and other reforms on Nigerians.

According to Edun, five million households have benefited from the direct transfer program. He further disclosed that, within the past five days, 11,000 beneficiaries received ₦3.5 billion under the consumer credit scheme.
