Icon Olugbenga Obagbemi received two impactful awards of recognition from the Cathedral Church of St. Jude, Lagos and Christ Church, Diocese of Akure, Anglican Communion in Ondo State.
The Christ Church which celebrated its 40th anniversary conferred the Distinguished Personality Award on Obagbemi in recognition of his outstanding services to humanity.
Congratulating Obagbemi, the church prayed that God will continue to use him as a vessel unto honour in His great house.
Similarly, at the 90th Choir Anniversary of the Cathedral Church of St. Jude, Lagos on Saturday, Obagbemi was presented with a Special Award “for your great work, Divine knowledge and Dexterity as a music Composer.“
Reacting, Dr Obagbemi appreciated the churches for the recognition, adding that the gesture would further spur him to be more committed to what he loved doing best.
