Abia Warriors players and officials have embarked on a 10-day break in preparation for the new Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The players and their officials are expected to resume on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
The team has been waiting for the planned reception by the state government to appreciate its feat for making it to the final of the President Federation Cup.
Chairman of the club, John Obuh commended the players for reaching the finals of the competition.
Obuh encouraged the players to redouble their efforts ahead of the new season as expectations from fans and followers of the club would be higher.
