The federal legislator stated that President Bola Tinubu’ s government will do all possible to help the entertainment business.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, told Afrobeats musician Davido that President Bola Tinubu’s government is willing to work across party lines” for the good of the country.”

Akpabio told Davido to remain the finest in the entertainment sector and not let anyone pull him into politics. The lawmaker made the statement as the 31-year-old musician paid him a courtesy call in Abuja on Monday, May 20, according to TheCable.

The former Akwa Ibom state governor praised Davido for making Nigeria proud in the international community.

He said: “Even though your administration is a PDP one but we work across party lines for the interest of Nigeria. The only major thing that is common to all of us is the interest of this country and it is a country that has given you so much love.”

He added: “It is a country with a population that is unmatched anywhere else in Africa. Over 240 million Nigerians. So I want you to continue to remain a great Ambassador of our country. Don’t allow anybody to drag you into politics. Continue to do your best in the entertainment industry. ”

As reported by another reliable source, Akpabio added: “You have made us very proud within the International Community. We will do everything possible to support the entertainment industry.”

A similar story stated that a hilarious video of Davido’ s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, honoring Dele Momodu and his wife went popular on social media.

In the popular video, Osun state’s number one man, also known as the dancing and singing’ governor, plays a clergyman. Davido’ s uncle was spotted praying for Dele and his wife before making the cross sign over their heads.
