According to the source, Soludo, a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and current governor of Anambra State, will seek a second term when the state’ s inhabitants vote next year, however, Primate Ayodele, who is well known for forecasting election results, has told the governor that he will be re- elected.

On Friday, October 4, 2024, the cleric addressed his followers at the church’ s international headquarters in Ejigbo, Lagos. He recommended the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party to avoid fielding candidates, calling such attempts a waste of money.

Primate Ayodele said, ” Soludo, go for a second term; no one else can compete with you. You will win by a landslide.

” He’ ll win. All of these Labour and PDP candidates, if they come out, will waste your money. Nobody can compete with Soludo; let them go to sleep.

” He is the greatest choice to lead Anambra State and will do better than others. ”

Primate Ayodele also raised doubts about the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying, ” There are some people who want to cause a crisis in the party; he must not allow it. People are talking about APC; nobody from APC can defeat you. ”

He encouraged Soludo to prioritize complete development in Anambra, including rural and urban areas, agriculture, and road infrastructure.
He said Soludo would outperform his predecessors, adding, ” He will do what Peter Obi has never done. ”

He stressed further the need for Soludo to prioritise security and development initiatives: ” He must work on rural development, urban development, agriculture, road construction, and put security in place” .
