In response to the speculation, the reality TV star, via Snapchat, released a statement addressing the video.
In the statement, the former Big Brother housemate distanced herself from the video, condemning the content and linking the video to her.
Mercy, who won the Big Brother Naija Season 4 Pepper Dem session in 2019, highlighted some differences between herself and the woman in the video, stressing that she does not wear nails nor do piercing.
“The video y’all are circulating can never be me. I do not wear long nails, no piercing, and I don’t wear such socks.
