The camp of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has clarified a statement made by the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, regarding the 2027 election. “It’s important to note that Kwankwaso was clearly misquoted in that video. Nowhere did he mention winning the 2027 Presidential Election. I still believe he is one of the strong politicians who has Nigeria at heart and would be part of any arrangement to end the APC’s bad governance,” Rasheeth wrote on social media.
He called on followers of Kwankwaso to unite with supporters of Atiku to ensure APC’s removal in 2027.
