nun’s disappearance had been reported to Rongo Police Station after she could not be located throughout the previous day. Authorities and fellow sisters launched a search but found no trace of Jirangwa until the heartbreaking discovery on Sunday.

Father Atieno described the atmosphere within the convent and the diocese as one of profound sadness and loss. He emphasized that the police have initiated investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding Jirangwa’s death.
