The news of his suspension was announced by APC member Akin Adeyi on Tuesday via his official social media account.
According to Adeyi, Aregbesola’s suspension was linked to alleged anti-party activities. He stated, “BREAKING NEWS: Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, former Governor of Osun and former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has been suspended from the APC due to anti-party activities. Further details to come.”
Attempts to obtain a response from the party regarding the suspension were unsuccessful at the time of this report.
