The federal government, led by President Bola Tinubu, has revealed ongoing plans to reduce the reliance on the U.S. dollar in Nigeria’s economy. Finance Minister and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, stated that the administration is prioritizing efforts to “de-dollarise” the economy and boost the value of the Naira.
