Dear Women, Here Are 5 Shower Mistakes You Should Avoid
Share this
Bathing is one of the normal activities we engage in daily which is very important. There are some mistakes we make when taking a bath that can cause us harm. In this article, we will be looking at some of the things to avoid when taking your shower.
1 Not throwing away old loofahs
Loofahs can add to a person’s bath, but still, it is a breeding ground for germs. So you need to change it every few months. Avoid waiting until it gets worn out before changing it. Another thing you should do is to carefully put it dry after making use of it.
2 Using of harsh bath products
Using the right bathing products will be highly good for your skin, which is why you need to avoid using harsh bathing products that can make your skin dry and lifeless. Always choose products that are made with natural ingredients and are gentle on the skin, instead of the ones that were made with chemicals.
3 Scalding hot showers
After a long day at work or school, using hot water to take your bath is not advisable because it will harm your skin. Excessive hot water can dehydrate and irritate your skin, so avoid long hot showers after a stressful day.
4 Over exfoliating
Although it is not bad to remove dead skin from your body. But don’t overdo it by using a body scrub every single day because it is going to result in skin irritation, rashes as well as dryness, and flakiness.
5 Using an old razor
This is the worst of them all especially if that razor is not yours. Instead of waiting for your blades to dull, discard razors after a few usages. If the razor is sharp and will be good to use again, make sure you disinfect it before using it again
