#EndSars’ DJ Switch Drags Redeemed Churches, Says They Work For APC; See What She Called Theml – HEARD VOICE NEWS ONLINE

Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Switch has described the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) as the “useless” political wing of the ruling party, APC.
DJ Switch, real name Obianuju Udeh, said this in an X post on Sunday, wherein she condemned Nigerians’ continued belief in the church.
She urged Nigerians to seek self-actualization within themselves, and not from a church or pastor.
”If by now, you still don’t believe that RCCG is a useless political wing of this useless APC, then I really don’t know what to tell you.” she wrote
“One day, I hope Nigerians will find for themselves what they are looking for in churches.
“PS: Your blessings are in the policies of your country, state, local govt etc. and not in the church or your pastor.
“Your general safety is in the efficiency of your nation’s protection services and not in the church.
“Your progress is in the availability of employment and access to finance to build businesses and not in the church and one more… your potential for growing wealth is in YOUR ability to understand how money works and investing that money in order for that money to work for you and not in sowing seeds or tithes!
“Unfortunately, many of you will be lifetime casts in the smash hit, “LIVING IN BONDAGE.”
DJ Switch rose to prominence following her active role in the 2020 #ENDSARS protests. The musician was present at the Lekki tollgate when Nigerian military personnel opened fire on unarmed protesters.
President Tinubu addressed the nation on Sunday, urging protesters to exercise patience with his administration.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has in recent times been on the receiving end of widespread backlash on social media.
“SHUT UP!” – Charly Boy To Adeboye
In February this year, veteran media personality, Charly Boy slammed the clergyman after he urged Christians to pray for God’s intervention and mercy against the continual decline of the Naira against the dollar.
The 81-year-old while lamenting the masses’ suffering, said that “things are going to get worse, before they get better”, according to God’s word to him at the start of the year.
Adeboye subsequently urged Christians to beg God for mercy and quick intervention “with all their heart”.
The clergyman also chastised the nation’s leadership, whom he accused of ignoring the current cost of living crisis affecting the common man.
Reacting, Charly Boy accused Adeboye of hypocrisy, adding that the nation’s economic woes required actions, not prayers.
Charly Boy further ridiculed the clergyman, inferring that he only began his “Jesus Enterprise” because of poverty.
“God gave us brain so we fit reason, but na every time na so we dey disturb Jesus an em papa God.” he wrote
“If no be poverty people like una no go plenty in the “Jesus Enterprise”
“Abegi shut up dia, stop using Gods name in vain for things we can do ourselves.
We’ve been praying since independence see where we dey today.
“Shey na prayers build ur church or ur school where many of ur congregation pikins dem no fit go. Oga stop the hypocrisy and stop highing urself joor.
“What requires action doesn’t need prayer. Even your Bible says “faith without work is dead”. In my own words “prayer without action is delusion”. Dia fathers.
Conversely, fastrising rapper, Odumodu Black accused Christians of cheapening the faith with their constant attacks against the clergyman.
Odumodu argued that it is very uncommon to see “Muslims come out to insult their clerics”.
Many who troll the man of God would never speak to their parents in the same manner, the rapper added.
On his X handle, Odumodublvck wrote: “Pastor Adeboye never insulted no one on this app.
“You do not see Muslims come out to insult their clerics. Then later we complain that our religion is being stepped on.
“Even based on age wise, una no fit follow una papa talk the way una dey follow Adeboye talk. And he senior una papa and mama.
“That’s why I never rated you n*ggas on this app. Una double standards choke.”
