The Football Association, FA, has made a decision over Gareth Southgate’s future as England manager ahead of Sunday’s Euro 2024 final against Spain.

According to the Daily Mirror, the FA want Southgate to continue no matter the outcome of the game in Berlin.

The Three Lions boss has a contract that expires in December. He was widely expected to leave the role at the end of the deal.

But Southgate has become the first man to lead England to two successive European Championship finals.

While he is said to be interested in club football with Manchester United considering him, the FA are keen to reward eight years of progress.
