The Owena Whales secured a 2-0 win over the Makurdi club in the Women’s President Federation Cup Round of 16 fixture.
Bolaji Olamide and Aluba Ogba grabbed the goals for Sunshine Queens.
Oseni said the team will remain focused and approach every game as they come.
He however commended the players for their hard work in securing the win.
“We took our time to work on the inadequacies we discovered in the first match and thank God our efforts was not in vain,” Oseni stayed in a post-match interview.
“For us to progress further in the competition, we have to also asses ourselves from every department and work on the areas we are not doing well so that we can be more stronger.”
Sunshine Queens will face Delta Queens in the quarter finals of the competition on a yet to be announced date and venue by the organizers.
