Human rights lawyer Femi Falana, SAN, has asserted that the recent arrest of Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), by the Department of State Services (DSS) is not connected to a prior invitation by the Nigeria Police Force. According to Daily Post, Ajaero was detained on Monday morning at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport while en route to the United Kingdom for a Trade Union Congress (TUC) conference.
