An eyewitness, who requested anonymity, recounted being near the Isheri bus stop when the incident occurred. He heard the tricycle driver shouting for help. Approaching the scene, he saw the woman with her head resting against the tricycle’s barricade, unresponsive.

The tricycle driver explained that the woman was supposed to get off at Isheri, the last stop for tricycles in the area. When they arrived, she did not respond or make any move to disembark and pay her fare. Alarmed by her lack of response, the driver called for help, attracting a crowd due to the unusual nature of the situation.

As reported by The Punch News on Monday, the eyewitness said, “I was near the Isheri bus stop when I heard the tricycle driver shouting for help. When we got closer, we saw a woman with her head against the barricade of the tricycle, unresponsive. The driver said she was supposed to get off at Isheri, but when they arrived, she didn’t respond, prompting him to raise the alarm. The area quickly became crowded due to the strange occurrence.”

The tricycle involved in the incident was impounded and taken to the Idimu police station for further investigation, while the deceased woman’s body was transported to a nearby hospital. Her identity has not yet been disclosed.
