Nigeria defender, Chidozie Awaziem is full of excitement after making a positive start to life at his new club, FC Cincinnati.
Awaziem made his debut for Cincinnati in the Leagues Cup clash with Querétaro.
Patrick Noonan’s side won the encounter 1-0, ending a three-game losing streak.
The centre-back was in action for the entire duration of the game.
“It feels amazing. It feels great to be part of this wonderful club. I’m excited and happy that we came out with the three points.
“Honestly, I didn’t feel there was any need for me to go out because I wanted to help the team more. I was feeling good, so I felt that there was no point going out to the bench,” he told the club’s official website.
