At least 19 people were killed in an Israeli strike on a mosque in the Gaza Strip early Sunday.

Associated Press reports that the bodies at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital morgue, and hospital records confirmed the deceased were all men.
Israel, which claimed to have targeted a Hamas command center embedded among civilians, has intensified its operations against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, as the war against Iran-allied groups widens.
Avichay Adraee, Israeli military spokesman, said, “We are in a new phase of the war,” and urged evacuations in northern Gaza.
In Beirut, Israeli strikes hit Hezbollah sites throughout the night. Hezbollah reported targeting Israeli soldiers with a rocket salvo.
Iran’s foreign minister said, “We are trying to reach a cease-fire in Gaza and in Lebanon.”
The Palestinian death toll has reached 42,000 according to health officials. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared, “Israel has the duty and the right to defend itself.”
