DAILY INDEPENDENT gathered that the victim, who is the Immediate Past Commissioner of Education ( Technical), was kidnapped by gunmen along DBS road.
It was gathered the incident occurred at the hours of 4:30pm occurred at her church premises; King Jesus and I Ministries on 30, July 2024.
It was learnt that two policemen attached to her were shot dead by the gunmen while trying to resist the kidnappers after which the armed men whisked their victim into their vehicle.
An eyewitness who spoke to Daily Independent revealed that the gunmen numbered over five, stormed the premises of the church in a black van after which she heard several gunshots.
” I was walking along that axis when i saw a strange vehicle that stopped abruptly and entered the church.
“I hid inside the gutter until I heard the can drive off,” she stated.
At the time of filing this report, several attempts to reach Police Public Relation Officer SP Bright Edafe proved abortive.
