This formed part of the resolution reached from an emergency security meeting, Chaired by the state Governor Peter Mbah in Enugu.

The police commissioner CP Kanayo Uzuegbu who spoke on behalf of other security chiefs urged the people to ignore the 4 days Sit At Home order Threat, assured that joint security operatives are battle ready to deal with the outlawed ruthlessly.

CP Uzuegbu emphasizes that residents should go about their lawful businesses without any fear of intimidation.

Governor of Enugu state Peter Mbah had earlier admonished people of the state to disregard the Sit at Home order issued by the self style AutoPilot Biafra Leader Simon Ekpa, who ordered shutdown of entire south east from 29th, 30th, 31 July and 2nd August 2024 to request the release of Nnamdi Kanu.
