The Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile (BRGIE), Simon Ekpa, has asserted that nothing can hinder the movement for Biafra’ s independence. Ekpa made this declaration in a message shared on Monday through his official X account (formerly Twitter), responding to a recent international report on Biafra’ s growing movement toward independence.

The report, titled ” Biafra’ s March Towards Independence Gains Momentum, ” highlighted the steady growth and recognition of the Biafra independence movement on the global stage. According to Ekpa, this international acknowledgment underscores the sacrifices made by BRGIE leaders and Biafran supporters worldwide, strengthening their drive for a sovereign Biafran nation.
Ekpa also referenced the upcoming Biafra Convention, scheduled to take place from November 29 to December 2, 2024. He described the event as a historic moment that would formally consolidate Biafra’ s independence efforts, providing a definitive step forward in the journey to self- determination.
