The Lagos State Police Command has uncovered a shop at the Oyingbo Market where people use to buy human body parts. Hundeyin said the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the State Police Command was on a routine stop- and- search duty at the Otedola bridge when they stopped a taxi. During the search, they caught two men possessing human tongues. They were immediately arrested and taken to the station for further investigation.
Hundeyin in the confirmation statement released on X disclosed that the two suspects confessed that they bought the tongues at a shop in Oyingbo Market and without wasting time, the officers swung into action, burst the shop, and arrested the person in the shop. This led to three suspects being arrested in the case.

Meanwhile, while confirming the arrest/matter, it was discreetly explained by the spokesperson as the details of the shop and the identity of the suspects were not disclosed. This might be done probably for security reasons. However, an investigation is still ongoing at the command headquarters. Where the shop owner is getting the human parts he is selling needs to be known.
