In a statement, the group ac­knowledged the prevailing hard­ships in the country and empha­sized the need for President Tinubu to rise to the occasion.

They emphasized that resorting to disruptive protests is not the op­timal path forward.

Comrade Wisdom Opara, also known as Chukwuemeziem Ekete, the president of the PVC Initiative for Good Governance Diaspora, questioned the rationale behind the protest. He highlighted the absence of specific grievances or demands targeted by the protest, urging the organizers to clarify their intentions.

The pro-democracy group stressed that while they do not shield the administration from crit­icism or legal action, they advocate for allowing the administration time to demonstrate its capabilities.

They emphasized the infancy of the current administration and the necessity of granting it an opportu­nity to showcase its potential.

While expressing support for justified protests, the group cau­tioned against baseless actions and insinuated a political agenda behind the planned nationwide protest.

They implored Nigerians to trust the process, exercise patience, and refrain from falling prey to po­litical manipulations.
