Arsenal are now in “pole position” to sign Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer.
Rabiot left Juventus after his contract expired this summer.
The 29-year-old has been linked with Manchester United for a few years.
But according to Italian newspaper, Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal are one of the three frontrunners for Rabiot’s signature.
Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid are also monitoring the France midfielder.
Rabiot is represented by his mother, Veronique, and she has confirmed that several teams are interested in him.
“It’s true, I’m talking to some clubs,” Veronique Rabiot said.
