President Bola Tinubu signed the bill for the return of the colonial-era national anthem to replace “Arise, O Compatriots” on Wednesday, sparking mixed reactions from Nigerians.

In a video shared on her TikTok handle late Wednesday, Ajibade disclosed that she is already learning the anthem as she urged others to learn it too.

In the video, Ajibade was seen listening to the anthem as she tried to recite some parts of the lyrics.

In her caption, she wrote, “I don start to dey learn my own; I no fit argue abeg, as this one na him be naija problem now.”

Commenting on her video, a TikTok user, #adamstee35, wrote, “No worries. Before Super Falcons sing this one finish, opponent go done score five goals😂🥲.”

PUNCH Online reports that some schools in Nigeria have started reciting the reintroduced national anthem during their morning assemblies.
