This was contained in a communique issued and signed by the apex body of the party’s chairman, Engr. Sola Akinwumi at the end of their meeting held at Oba Phillip Famodun’s residence in Osogbo on Tuesday.
According to the communiqué, Osun APC Igbimo Agba also congratulated President Bola Tinubu and the party on the victory recorded at the just concluded Edo election.
The communiqué reads, “The above body under Engr. Chief Sola Akinwumi held its September ’24 meeting on the 24th day of September, 2024 .HRH Oba Philip Famodun hosted the body in his Osogbo residence.”
“The body deliberated on some critical issues especially on the upcoming Local Government elections slated for February ’25 by OSSIEC in Osun State. The State Chapter’s Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal who is equally a member and in attendance was advised to take appropriate steps in solving OSSIEC’S alleged related issues as affecting our Party within timeframe”
“All Stakeholders of the Party across strata were commended for their resoluteness in their respective levels for deploying political sagacity in the manner they amicably handled Local Government Party Primaries associated challenges.”
“The body’s Chairman,Chief Sola Akinwumi congratulated our Party and the President of Nigeria,His Excellency,’Bola Ahmed TINUBU on the electoral victories on Edo State Governorship election of last Saturday,21st September,2024 which served as a promising and potent political pointer for future elections for our great Party in Nigeria.”
“He further enjoined all Party members in the State to remain hopeful as we are jointly moving our Party to victory in 2026 Osun Guber election.
