“Who in the PDP didn’t try to nominate names for President Tinubu’s appointments? Yes, they did. Let them come forward and deny it,” Wike stated.
Recently, Wike had also warned that he would retaliate against any PDP governor attempting to meddle in his ongoing dispute with his former protégé, Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State.
“Call Me an APC Mole” – Wike Challenges PDP Governors, Leaders
Furthermore, Wike challenged PDP governors and leaders to publicly label him a mole. He revealed that before accepting his ministerial appointment, he sent letters to the PDP at the state, zonal, and national levels to clarify his position.
“Who in the PDP is calling me a mole? Let them name names,” Wike demanded. “The problem in this country is that some people think they’re smarter than others. I do what I want, and what I don’t want, I won’t do.”
He continued, “I dare any PDP member, governor, or National Working Committee member to appear on national television and accuse me of being a mole.”
Wike also reiterated his stance during the 2023 elections when he openly refused to support the PDP presidential candidate, citing concerns over equity and fairness. He pointed out that despite this, the PDP won the governorship, National Assembly, and state assembly elections in Rivers State.
