United States immigration authorities have announced plans to remove Nigerian national Ayodeji Olamide Ajayi following enforcement action tied to his immigration status and criminal history.
According to the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Ajayi entered the United States in 2007 on a student visa but later discontinued his studies and remained in the country after his legal stay had expired.

In a statement shared on June 22, 2026, ICE said Ajayi accumulated a criminal record while living in the United States.
The agency listed convictions including domestic violence, trespassing, intimidation and obstruction.
ICE also referenced additional serious allegations and charges in its public statement, including kidnapping, sexual assault and family neglect. However, details regarding the disposition or outcomes of those particular allegations were not immediately provided.
