Yusuf Buhari, son of former President Muhammadu Buhari, has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’adua Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 elections.
He polled 5,849 votes to defeat his closest rival, Auwal Lawal Daura, who scored 21 votes.
The result confirms him as APC’s candidate for the House of Representatives seat in the 2027 general elections.
