The Kogi State Government has announced the Kogi Youth Entrepreneurship & Business Grant Programme 2026, an initiative aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs through business training, financial education, and grant support.
The programme, themed “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations: Empowering Kogi Youth Through Business Grants,” is designed to help young people with viable business ideas transform their ventures into sustainable enterprises.
Two-Day Programme to Focus on Business Growth
According to the announcement, the event will hold over two days.
On Monday, August 11, 2026, participants will take part in entrepreneurship lectures, financial literacy sessions, and business pitch presentations.
Successful applicants selected through the pitching process will receive business grants on Tuesday, August 12, 2026, which coincides with International Youth Day.

Organisers have urged young entrepreneurs across Kogi State with innovative and viable business ideas to take advantage of the opportunity.
