The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed that candidates who participated in the opening day of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will have access to their results before midnight on Friday.
The announcement was disclosed in a statement shared on X by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.
According to the statement, candidates who sat for the examination on Thursday, April 16, 2026, can expect their results to be released later in the day.
“This is to inform all candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME on Thursday, 16th April 2026, that their results will be released today before midnight,” the statement read.
The board added that a formal notice would be issued once the results are officially made available, with updates to be posted on its X page.
The UTME, conducted annually by JAMB as a computer-based test for tertiary institution admission in Nigeria, commenced on April 16, 2026.
