Media personality Daddy Freeze has reacted to the controversy surrounding the alleged fake dollar notes sprayed on TikTok star Peller during his wedding ceremony with fellow content creator Jarvis.
The controversy began after Peller disclosed that a number of the dollar bills he received as gifts during the lavish celebration were allegedly counterfeit.
According to the TikTok star, he only discovered the issue after taking the money to a bank to deposit it. He claimed bank officials informed him that a significant portion of the dollar notes was fake.
Reacting during a recent livestream, Daddy Freeze dismissed suggestions that wealthy guests at the wedding were responsible for the counterfeit currency.
Instead, he alleged that some celebrities and Nollywood actors were more likely to have sprayed the fake notes.
“Peller said he was sprayed fake dollars. It’s Nollywood actors and celebrities that’ll give Peller fake dollars, not billionaires like Chief Priest,” he said.
Daddy Freeze also used the incident to explain how his personal experiences have shaped the type of people he keeps in his circle.
According to him, he prefers maintaining close relationships with individuals who have achieved notable success in business and entertainment, adding that most of his associates operate at the highest levels in their respective industries.
He further referenced businessman Mr. Ochacho’s reported wedding gift to Peller, describing it as a sign of confidence in the TikToker’s growing influence and future potential.
