US Soldier Breaks Down

A US soldier has shared an emotional account of the pain of serving her country while her daughter battles an illness in Nigeria, saying she struggled to hold back her emotions on her way to duty.

In a video shared on social media, the uniformed soldier directly addressed US President Donald Trump, explaining that the situation involving her daughter had become overwhelming.

‘I Couldn’t Hold It Anymore’

The soldier said she broke down while driving to her duty post because she was struggling to balance her military responsibilities with the distress of having her sick daughter thousands of miles away.

“Mr. President, this is me on my uniform today, on my way to serve this country. I’m totally overwhelmed by the situation.”

She said she had been thinking about her daughter throughout the journey before eventually becoming unable to contain her emotions.

“I was just driving on my way to my duty post right now and couldn’t hold it anymore because I’m overwhelmed by this whole situation about my daughter.”

‘I’ll Keep It Strong for My Daughter’

Despite her distress, the soldier said she was determined to regain control of her emotions and continue carrying out her responsibilities.

She explained that being separated from her daughter while the child is ill has been particularly difficult.

“I’m trying to hold it, I’m trying to fight the feelings that I cannot have my child in this country.”

She added that she intended to remain strong for her daughter despite the circumstances.

“Because I was raised in good morals, I’ll pull it together. I’ll keep it strong for my daughter.”

The emotional video has drawn sympathy from social media users, many of whom expressed concern about the soldier’s daughter and the difficulty of navigating such a personal crisis while serving in the military.
