A dramatic scene unfolded at a funeral in Veracruz, where two women were captured on video fighting over a coffin after reportedly discovering they had both been romantically involved with the deceased.
The altercation occurred during the wake, as emotions escalated when one of the women allegedly expressed affection for the late man, raising suspicion from the other mourner present.
According to reports, the situation quickly turned chaotic, with the two women engaging in a physical struggle across the casket. In the course of the scuffle, the coffin lid was dislodged while shocked onlookers shouted in the background.
At one point, one of the women grabbed a bouquet of funeral lilies, prompting the other to attempt to snatch it back, further intensifying the confrontation.
The incident was eventually brought under control when a mourner dressed in black intervened, pulling one of the women away in an effort to restore order.
The video has since circulated widely online, drawing attention to the unusual and tense circumstances surrounding the funeral.
