JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Top Scorers as Ekiti Candidate Leads Nationwide
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially unveiled the highest-performing candidates in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The list was announced on Monday during the 2026 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions held in Abuja, where key stakeholders in Nigeria’s education sector gathered to discuss admission guidelines and policies for the academic year.
Leading the national ranking is Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin from Ekiti State, who scored an impressive 372 out of the maximum 400 points in the examination.
According to the released data, several candidates from across the country recorded outstanding scores, with many choosing competitive courses such as Medicine, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and various engineering disciplines.
