A barber from Kogi State has gone viral after receiving a ₦5 million gift from Delta-based businessman and philanthropist Daniel Omoyibo, popularly known as Danmotech, following an unexpected encounter during a haircut.

A video circulating on social media captured the emotional moment the barber broke down after learning that the money had been transferred to him.

According to the video, Omoyibo visited a barbershop for a haircut.

The first barber reportedly charged ₦5,000 for the service. After Omoyibo offered ₦2,000, the barber declined the offer, and the businessman prepared to leave.

A second barber, identified as being from Kogi State and working as an employee in the shop, then offered to cut Omoyibo’s hair for the amount he proposed.

During the haircut, Omoyibo learned that the barber did not own the shop but worked for another person.

When asked how much he would need to establish his own barbershop, the barber estimated between ₦2 million and ₦3 million.

According to the video, Omoyibo immediately transferred ₦5 million to him to support his dream of opening his own business.

The barber became visibly emotional after receiving the alert, while Omoyibo also exchanged contact details with him.
